  3. Depression
  4. High blood pressure
  5. Stress/anxiety

Notably, these are overwhelmingly preventable conditions, brought on or aggravated by lifestyle choices.

Could the bad economy spur more of us to make better health choices? There’s certainly financial incentive. After all, if you keep up your health, you can not only be more productive at work but also avoid the costs of ongoing treatment for “managing” chronic conditions.
